For those of you who might have stumbled onto this site by accident, I should explain that parylene is a polymeric or plastic coating material which can only be applied to substrates from the gas phase at low pressure, under conditions commonly referred to as "vacuum". This unique parylene coating process, conducted at ambient temperatures, produces thin layers of polymer having superb uniformity and continuity.  This site is dedicated to assisting people who are investigating a specific instance of its use, particularly for the first time.
